Sassy, sexy, and smart. That’s some of the what makes a woman.
I love photographing women. When she comes to my studio for her portrait session, she gets pampered with hair and makeup, it is always inspiring when she looks in the mirror. She smiles because she feels beautiful. She steps before the camera, although perhaps a bit tentatively at first. We talk, laugh and “work it out”. Her self confidence and true nature come alive. The fabulousness that is part of every woman emerges.
Here’s a woman who knows her power. I had the fun and pleasure to photograph her recently. French born, a public relations and media dynamo, she came for professional head shots. But looking great, we branched out for some more personal portraits.
Love on the streets of New York City.
"Goodbye New York, I’ll see you soon." And that’s why I want a portrait session Rima. And so we did.
Her portrait session was about celebrating who she is at this time in her life. She wanted to capture the qualities that were important to her.
I celebrate being a woman. I celebrate my strength, my spirit, my courage, my ability to attract miracles.

I am finally getting a bit of time to add to my Nature album. Please return from time to time to see what is new. I truly love photographing the wonders of nature.Long Island Lavendar Fields ,White Tulips - Still Life on a Windowsill In their gentle, quiet presence, flowers have the power to soothe us, adding beauty to our space and our hearts. Listen. Look….
It’s wonderful to have a client who trusts me enough to give me creative freedom. Ania is a talented photographer and determined woman who is coming out of her cocoon. Like a butterfly, she is discovering her beauty and her strength. I had the opportunity to participate in this part of her life through my portrait lens. It was a wonderful glamour portrait session. This grouping is a small collection from our day.

I just loved photographing this talented, confident, and very glamourous woman. Isn’t she grand!
One of my favorite subjects is showing LOVE. When this little girl reached up to hug her mamma you could feel the gentleness, the closeness and the sweetness. How wonderful are the hands which tell a story along with the smiles!
A Little bit of GLAMOUR.
My mother has always dressed very elegantly. It is perhaps a sign of her time, but it is also in her DNA. Well, “shopping” in her extra closet I found a long, white brocade dress as tiny around the waist and hips as it could be. I really wanted to find someone to wear it for a glamour session. Luckily Tamira could. Even luckier for me that I got to photographer her.
Another note for the image of the model sitting on that classic Louis VI chair: we experimented with one of my nature photos of water as a background. It is difficult to see here, but I still love the light.
